Foam adhesive, full name of one component polyurethane foam sealant, also known as foaming agent, PU sealant, etc. It is a single component, moisture cured, multi-purpose polyurethane foam material. Its main components are black material, polyurethane prepolymer dimethyl ether composed of white material, and propylene butane. It is divided into two types: gun type and tube type. The gun type requires a dedicated polyurethane foam gun to be used, while the tube type is equipped with disposable rubber hoses, mainly used for filling, sealing, and bonding at the edges, expansion joints, and holes of building doors and windows.
The function of foam adhesive
1. Fill and seal
It can fill holes and gaps, and play a sealing role, such as sealing and fixing between doors, windows, and walls.
2. Sound insulation and noise reduction
It can fill indoor gaps and achieve sound insulation effects, such as filling gaps during decoration of speech rooms, broadcasting rooms, etc. It can be used for sound insulation and noise reduction, improving indoor comfort.

Instructions for using foam adhesive
1. Gun type foam adhesive
① When using a foam gun, clean it with polyurethane cleaner to ensure that the muzzle is unobstructed.
② Take the foam again, grip the middle of the can tightly with your hand, and shake it horizontally at least 15-30 times to ensure that the pre polymer inside the can is fully mixed.
③ Remove the protective cover of the valve on the threaded ring of the gun type foam adhesive, remove the cleaning agent from the foam gun, and install the foam agent tank onto the interface of the foam gun along the thread.
④ Grasp the handle of the foam gun tightly, ensuring that the material tank is placed above and the foam gun is below the material tank. Open the flow control valve at the back of the foam gun.
⑤ Aim the gun head at the bottom or inside of the area to be filled with the object, gently pull the trigger, and start construction. It can be adjusted to the appropriate flow rate through the flow regulating valve behind the foam gun.
⑥ After spraying a can, if you still need to fill it, you can immediately remove the empty can, reinstall the foaming agent according to the method in point three, and continue construction.
⑦ After the construction is completed, promptly remove the material tank and replace it with a specialized cleaning agent to clean the foam gun, in order to prevent residual materials from solidifying, blocking, and damaging the foam gun.
2. Pipe type foam adhesive
① The second step of using the gun style foam adhesive is the same as above.
② Take another disposable rubber hose and screw it clockwise.
③ Ensure that the material can is placed above and the foam gun is below the material can. Aim at the bottom or inside of the area to be filled with the object and gently pull the trigger to start construction.
④ Spray from bottom to top, with a spray volume of 80% of the required filling volume (2/3 for tubular filling volume).

① Uncured foam is sticky to skin and clothes. Please do not touch skin and clothes when using
② There is a pressure of 5-6kg/cm2 (25 ° C) inside the foam tank, and the temperature during storage and transportation should not exceed 50 ° C to prevent tank explosion. The foam tank should be protected from direct sunlight
③ Children are strictly prohibited from touching, and empty cans after use, especially partially used but not yet used foam cans, should not be thrown around
④ Do not burn or puncture empty cans. Keep away from open flames and avoid contact with flammable and explosive materials
⑤ The construction site should have ventilation conditions. Construction personnel should wear work gloves, work clothes, and goggles during construction, and should not smoke
⑥ In case of eye contact with foam, please rinse with water before going to hospital; If it touches the skin, please rinse with water and soap
Storage precautions
① It is strictly prohibited to invert and store in a dry, cool, and ventilated warehouse. Stay away from sources of fire and heat. The storage temperature should not exceed 30 ° C
② The normal operating temperature of the foam can is+5~+40 ° C, and the optimal operating temperature is+18~+25 ° C. In low temperature conditions, it is recommended to keep the product at a constant temperature of+25~+30 ° C for 30 minutes before use to ensure its optimal performance. The temperature resistance range of cured foam is -35 ° C~+80 ° C
Precautions for use
① Foam adhesive is a moisture curing foam, which should be sprayed on the wet surface when used. The higher the humidity, the faster the curing. Uncured foam can be cleaned with cleaning agent, while cured foam can be removed with mechanical method (sanding or cutting). After using the spray gun, please clean it with special cleaning agent immediately
② When replacing the material tank, shake the new tank evenly (at least 20 times) and remove the empty tank. Quickly replace the new tank to prevent the nozzle connection from solidifying
③ The flow control valve and trigger of the spray gun can control the flow of foam, and the flow valve will be closed clockwise when spraying stops.
